DURALUME / ZINCALUME

The Duralume® coated steel has been formulated to give a significantly longer service life than a galvanised coating.

 

At Fogarty Industries, we supply Duralume® steel, also known as Zincalume, which has a coating of Zinc and Aluminium AZ150/G550 offering the corrosion protection of aluminium with the protection of zinc, giving the advantages of both metals. The result enhances corrosion resistance, making it great for applications such as roofing and cladding. 

It’s made to the Australian and NZ standard 1397. Iron can come in any length you require, so long as you can transport it. It is 0.4mm thick.
